Propolis
A unique natural remedy, as propolis has an effective impact against microorganisms and diseases for which synthetic antibiotics are ineffective.
Propolis has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it useful for treating inflammations, purulence, and abscesses. It speeds up the healing of long-lasting wounds and burns, reduces joint, tooth, and nerve pain, heals stomach and intestinal ulcers, prevents mouth and throat inflammations, and treats periodontitis and stomatitis.
Dry propolis can be chewed, as it effectively cleans plaque from teeth, strengthens gums, reduces inflammation, and helps with common colds.
Bees collect propolis from various tree buds and leaf resins in nature and use it as glue and a disinfectant in the hive.
Propolis consists of resins and balsams, wax, essential oils and aromatic substances, polyphenols, flavonoids, and derivatives of cinnamic acid.
Propolis does not dissolve in water but partially dissolves in alcohol or oil.
