Terms and Conditions

The legislation of the Republic of Latvia stipulates that the owner of an online store must specify the terms of delivery and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal. Such a clause is called a distance contract (Cabinet Regulations).

Distance contract 

In this online store, the seller of the goods offered is Rudzīšu medus on the one hand, hereinafter referred to as the Seller, and the person placing the order, hereinafter referred to as the Buyer, on the other hand, conclude the following Agreement:

The Seller undertakes to sell and deliver goods to the Buyer in accordance with the Buyer’s order.

Delivery and payment procedure

The Buyer places an order for goods through this website, indicating the type and quantity of the goods to be ordered.

The Buyer pays for the goods by paying the invoice prepared by the Seller and sent to the Buyer by e-mail in accordance with the order.

The invoice is prepared electronically and is valid without a signature.

The Seller ensures delivery of the goods as soon as possible, but no later than within 14 days from receipt of payment for the goods, coordinating the delivery time with the Buyer.

Right of withdrawal

The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the goods within 3 calendar days from the moment of receipt of the Goods by sending the Seller a letter of withdrawal. The Seller sends the withdrawal form to the Buyer by e-mail upon the Buyer’s request.

The Buyer’s obligation is to return the goods to the Seller within 3 days after sending the letter of withdrawal. All expenses incurred in connection with sending the goods back to the Seller shall be borne by the Buyer (except in the case where the product has been mechanically damaged during delivery).

The Buyer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal if:

 due to their nature, the ordered goods cannot be returned, or they spoil quickly and have a short shelf life;

 the ordered goods are made specifically for the Buyer according to an individual order;

 the Buyer has opened the product packaging.

Part six of Section 12 of the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia provides that "the consumer is responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the goods during the period for exercising the right of withdrawal". The Seller reserves the right to refuse the Buyer the exercise of the right of withdrawal or to withhold a compensation fee.

The procedure for returning goods takes place in accordance with the Consumer Rights Protection Law of the Republic of Latvia (CRPL) and the regulating Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 255 "Regulations on Distance Contracts" (Cabinet Regulations No. 255).

Data processing

By entering the required information when placing an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read and agree that the data provided by them is used so that the Seller can accept the Buyer’s order and deliver the goods in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. By entering information, the Buyer agrees that notifications related to the processing of the Buyer’s order will be sent to the указанному e-mail address.
